Those nice military humvee's
A few SMBC members were invited to Jericho, Vermont this week to biathlon train along with many other biathlon teams and clubs. Of those athletes, Tom, Chester, Drew, Sarah, and Tara were able to attend. During the week they did a lot of shooting, rollerskiing, and running. On Friday Molly, Tiki, Chester, Sarah, Tom and Drew did a 4.5 hour hike up Mt. Mansfield. There were a few wipeouts on the way down, including Tom who "ate it" into a tree and will have some nice scars to show off. On Saturday everyone did the sprint race. They up in the youth men and women's category, which is 17 and 18 year olds. Everyone did a great job. On Saturday night we went out to dinner and walked around Burlington. Sunday was the pursuit race. Racing up again, everybody skied 10k and shot four times, two prone and two standing. Again, the athletes tried very hard and met with success. It was a fantastic week!
