More Race Results

On Saturday as well as the Junior World Trials sprint race in Minnesota, the Eastern Cup Opener freestyle sprint took place at Nordic Heritage Center in Presque Isle, and the Sugarloaf Nordic Opener took was held at the Sugarloaf Nordic Center. On Sunday the second race of the eastern cup opener was a classic mass start. We had a few biathlon club members and Southern Maine skiers participate in the races. Sam Humphries and Walt Shepard were in Minnesota racing at trials. Jackson Hall, Chester Jacobs, Ian Moore, Tara Humphries, Molly Susla (now racing for Colby) and Carter Hall (classic on Sunday and BKL race) all raced this weekend. Congrats!

US Biathlon World Trials- Day 2

Today, Sunday, was the second day of racing at US Biathlon World Trials in Coleraine, Minnesota with pursuit races. Walt Shepard had another fantastic day of racing and placed first in the men's competition. Sam Humphries placed tenth.

US Biathlon World Trials- Day 1

The first day of US Biathlon World Team Trials took place on Saturday with a sprint race. Walt Shepard, from Yarmouth, Maine, had a great race and came in third. Walt has been racing very well. Sam Humphries from North Yarmouth, Maine came in eleventh place.
