This Tuesday (February 24) about 35 middle school kids participated in an air rifle biathlon at Fogg Farm, in Freeport, Maine. It was an L.L. Bean sponsored event. They learned to shoot air rifles and did lots of skiing. There were kids from the Yarmouth middle school, and a few from the elementary school. There were 5 air rifle stations with one coach per mat. Tiki, Mike, and Joel were all there. One of the stations, with no coach, was for the experienced shooters. That station was run by Jackson Hall. It was a beautiful day, and a great time! These events are a great way to get people interested and learning about the sport, and the turnout is getting bigger every event!
